BCPG Public Company Limited’s Board of Directors approved, at the meeting on August 22, 2023, the interim dividend payment to the shareholders from the Company’s 6-month performance in 2023 at the rate of 0.10 baht per share, which is equal to approximately THB 291 million. The XD (Exclude Dividend) sign will be posted on September 4, 2023, and dividend payment date is set for September 15, 2023.

For the first half of 2023, BCPG could achieve total net profit of THB 713 million, a 57.9% decrease compared with the same period last year. This was due to an absence of sharing profit from geothermal power plant and the operation shutdown of hydropower plants in Laos to prepare for electricity sales to Vietnam Electricity (EVN); however, the plants have already started commercial operation to EVN since June.

For the second half of 2023, BCPG expects to achieve full revenue recognition from hydropower plants in Laos, oil terminal in Thailand, and sharing profit from 577-MW natural gas power plants in the US, which the company looks forward to more acquisition of 280-MW within this year. The Company has also stared Performance Improvement Project for solar power plants in Thailand, aiming for better electricity production. BCPG expects to finish the project by the end of this year.
