BCPG to impose lockdown on power plants across the country for 1 month to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and impacts on its business operation
Mr. Bundit Sapianchai, BCPG President, stated that the Company has rolled out the latest measure, under Business Continuity Management Plan, to impose a lockdown on every power plant across the country for one month. Each plant will allow only a few employees to maintain performance. The purpose of this measure is to prevent employees and businesses from the COVID-19 outbreak situation.
“Recently, we have formulated the Work from Home policy for employees working at BCPG’s headquarters and Bang Pa-in plant, as well as implementing COVID-19 Health Insurance for every employee. We have also announced the new measure, under Business Continuity Management Plan, to impose a lockdown on power plants across the country for one month. Only an engineer and two operators of each plant will be responsible for plant performance, while another team will coordinate with the agencies involved during the lockdown.”
“In parallel with business operation maintenance, we put a high priority on the safety and well-being of employees. We have formed a support team to regularly keep food and equipment in the offices hygienic, as well as taking care of employees’ mental health during this harsh time,” said Mr. Bundit.
