BCPG announces new subsidiary "CDC" to forge ahead in District Cooling System Project for Suanluang – Samyan Commercial Area
Bundit Sapianchai, BCPG President, disclosed that the Company has successfully set up the joint venture company - Chula District Cooling Company Limited or CDC – to operate a District Cooling System Project for Suanluang – Samyan Commercial Area of Chulalongkorn University.
CDC is a joint venture among the three companies; 1) BCPG - a leading renewable energy company in Thailand and Asia-Pacific 2) Keppel DHCS - the first and largest district cooling systems developer and service provider from Singapore, and 3) TEAM GROUP - a leading integrated consulting firms in Thailand. Currently, the Company has the registered capital of THB 50,000,000 (fifty million).
In July 2020, CDC was awarded a contract by the Property Management of Chulalongkorn University (PMCU) to apply a District Cooling System in place of the conventional air-conditioning system for the Suanluang - Samyan Commercial Area, which is a part of Chula Smart City of Chulalongkorn University. CDC’s District Cooling System Project is expected to start the construction process in late of 2021 and recognize the revenue in late of 2022.
