On March 6, 2019, Dr. Andreas Weigend, a world-renowned expert on big data, was invited by Bangchak Corporation and BCPG to deliver a session "Turning Big Data into Decisions" to the companies' board of directors, executives and employees.

Dr. Weigend was Former Chief Scientist of Amazon, Data Coach of Jeff Bezos (founder and CEO of Amazon) and Jack Ma (founder of Alibaba), and current digital advisor to Angela Merkel (Chancellor of Germany).

He also specialises in consumer behavior, and social-mobile technologies, the combination of which he calls the Social Data Revolution. His recent book “Data for the People” has been translated into 8 languages including Thai.
