BCPG announced their 2016 operating results with a net profit of 1,541.33 million baht. The Company proposed a dividend payment of 0.69 baht per share for 2016, equal to approximately 1,373 million baht in total dividend payments for 2016. 

According to Mr. Bundit Sapianchai, BCPG’s President, the total income of the company and its subsidiaries’ solar power business was 3,083.91 million baht, a 2.0% increase  from previous year. This increase is the result of additional income from the Solar Power business in Japan.  Net profit for 2016 is valued at 1,541.33 million baht.

As of December 31, 2016, the Company’s total asset values were 25,488.56 million baht, total liabilities were 11,971.85 million baht, and total equity was 13,516.71 million baht.

The Board of Directors, on February 14, 2017, approved the dividend payment for the operating results for the period spanning October 1, 2016 to December 31, 2016, (Fourth Quarter), at the rate of 0.15 baht per share. When combined with the interim dividend payment for the period of January 1 to September 30, 2016 (at the rate of 0.54 baht per share) the dividend per share in 2016 is equal to 0.69 baht, totaling approximately 1,373 million baht. The dividend of 0.15 baht per share is exempted from calculation as corporate taxable income; thus, individual shareholders shall not be entitled to a dividend tax credit. The Company will inform shareholders who have the right to receive dividend the Record Date, which shall be listed after the next meeting of the Company’s Board of Directors.
